OK, this was seriously the best FNL in...the whole season.
Rigginspalooza, baby. The prom scene. "If you so much as look at her, ever again, so help me God I will end you." A frakking tornado. And all the goddamned fighting! Hawt.
That is all.

Date: 2008-01-05 06:16 pm (UTC)You're probably right about Tim. Makes sense. I hope that's the case.
I just love Once. I've already watched it so many times (including with the commentary, which I actually learned stuff from).

Date: 2008-01-07 01:04 pm (UTC)Seriously tho - you can now see the entire season 1 on DVD...and all of both seasons are up on NBC.com.
This show is definitely in my top ten. As they say, it's about so much more than football. You'll come for Riggins, Saracen, Smash and Landry - but you'll STAY FOR THE TAYLORS.

Date: 2008-01-05 07:53 pm (UTC)I was actually in a class out here with the girl/lady/woman/chica...pick one I'm terrible at the PC part of this! I like chick personally :-)
Anyhoo...the 'young lady' who plays the head cheerleader. Dark hair. Pretty. She was quite nice and we chatted a bit about Janis (Joplin) and Wicked (she loved it, I didn't)
Just a random piece of thought :-)

Date: 2008-01-07 01:10 pm (UTC)Actors would LOVE this show. And believe me when I say, it's a shippers delight. All the show is, in the end, is an analysis of modern masculinity, the depiction of a few types of teams (family and sports), and about sixty million amazing 'ships to revel in.
The acting is uniformly stupendous. Apparently there is a lot of improv within the show's structure.
DVD of s1 is already out - and all shows to date are on NBC.com. You'll love it! I actually caught up with S1 eps 1-7 via NBC.com last year. Their player used to suck but it's better now.

Date: 2008-01-08 10:40 pm (UTC)OOOOO everything is online....me likey!!! For this reason alone I would be a supporter or the WGA strike! I LOVE that I can watch TV on my computer WHEN EVER THE HELL I WANT!
I can watch a few eps of a show I would NEVER consider sitting through on a standard evening...then again, I'm really not a huge fan of network television anyway. Most of my favs have been on cable. But I gotta say, LIFE, is awesome!
Thanks for the heads up proggrrl!
