For the first meme, SevenFacts, I hereby tag marie_adama, tschevy20, catn3d, stilettos81, sui_generis, bitterlatinist, elly427 in the hope you will come out and play. 

AND, anyone else who wants to do it should go right ahead. Yes I'm changing the rules. That's a quirk about me.

And my answers to amaleka_crone:

1. I am a country mouse/city mouse - lived on a small working farm in upstate New York through high school, but always dreamed of moving to the big city. After college I lived in NYC, then Amsterdam, then Los Angeles. I miss the farm.

2. My favorite places to be are on a big empty beach, or at the top of a mountain I've hiked up the side of.

3. If you asked me to name my 5 favorite films, I would hand you a list of about 25 and shrug.

4. Mark Wahlberg once stripped down to his skivvies about 3 feet from my face and seemed to enjoy it. He has a lot more tattoos than any of us realize.

5. I have a hard time not being online in the morning before I leave for work. For at least an hour.

6. I am very, very into organic/local/healthy foods. It annoys my friends a little. But a lot of it's yummy, so they understand.

7. My guilty pleasures: Mac n' Cheese, dumbass romantic-comedies (especially ludicrous Austen-ripoffs), cupcakes.

The next meme is the MusicLetterMeme - which is great since I love music sharing. Thanks hollywoodgrrl for getting me in on this one. 

The rules of this meme are simple:  Reply and I'll give you a letter and you have to find 5 songs that start with that letter and post them to your journal.

They definitely still make the cherry ones - I've seen them in all those shoe shops on 8th St btwn 5th/6th Aves, and on B'way in the shopping corridor just north & south of Houston.

u know, i don't think it was a conscious choice. one day the lust just...diminished. i think it might have been when i moved to new york and was forced to give up my marky mark videos so i couldn't watch them in slow mo over and over...not that i ever did that of course...*weak laugh*. or it could have been when he got all serious about being an actor and got all "i'm a dad" and stopped taking his clothes off all the time. i dunno, but he will always hold a special place in my heart. AND LOVE UR ICON

I usually don't do memes, but I'll give you 7 facts here instead of posting it in my blog:


1) I always subway surf instead of holding onto the handrails; this is after touching sticky or slimy things too many times.

2) I didn't get my first cavity until I was 24.

3) I love wasabi.

4) and salt.

5) I don't eat things with four legs. (Not by design, no.)

6) I hate apartment hunting.

7) I am now going to lunch.

Thanks for sharing...have you ever had real wasabi root? I've only had it once, but it's worth seeking out and shelling out for. I hate apartment hunting too - and I'm going to have to do it again in about a year. By the way, I coveted most of your userpics page, and went and raided it last week. You're quite the artiste!

We now have a hard date for the fall party (Sat 11/24/07) as of last week's announcement. But we're over 4 months out - I think it's still a bit too early to set it up.

I will email everyone in a few more weeks to get the ball rolling. Glad you'll be able to make it and maybe help out.

Yay! I love your answers. And from missing the farm to eating organic, we seem to have a bunch in common. I'm actually about to move back out to the country, I miss it that much.
