Well I loved S2 quite a bit - but for pure shock value and things that make you say "OMG I can't believe TPTB just did that!!!", you cannot beat S4.

Of course, I haven't watched S5 yet. Heh.

It's been a loooooooooooooong ass time since I've seen this show, and I only remember the basic outlines of who anyone is or what's going on. But that scene between them, from your second cap there, totally effected me when I saw it. I was floored by the emotion there. I remember it always, and if I can, I always try to homage it whenever possible. WHAT A POWERFUL VISUAL!

Yeah, that scene from the season finale just blew my mind.

I can only imagine what that must have been like for any fan watching the show back in the day. You think that's the FINAL EPISODE EVER. I would have seriously FALLEN OFF MY CHAIR and started screaming at the TV.

Heh. The LFN fans should really get some praise. I always claimed that Serenity couldn't have happened if the Scapers didn't get Peacekeeper Wars made. But look at what the LFN fans did back in the day, you know? They got a show that totally wrapped up back on the air again for a little extra bit. Yay them! (Although, the story on the other hand, at least from what I remember, was kinda tacked on. And it really was tacked on, lol!)

Well it wasn't anything as clever as sending nuts or Marsbucks. It was just a letter campaign to USA network asking for another season of the show. I guess enough of us wrote in so they produced the final 8 ep arc.
