I was going to blow off the summertime HBO show FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS.  But then I saw this:

Meanwhile there are more treats in store this summer that I'm looking forward to:

- Reruns of the entire S1 of JERICHO start tonight at 9PM.  I gave up on this show last fall after a couple of eps due to shoddy writing and directing.  It's cheesy, but I like the nuclear-winter theme (sick, eh?), and hey - all those NUTTY fans must be onto something...

- New shows: the one with Holly Hunter (<3 <3 <3), the one with Glenn Close (<3), and this AMC original series MAD MEN, which looks fun.
The new one on Showtime with David Duchovny.

- WEEDS SEASON 3!  W00T!  I just mainlined most of S2 this month via On Demand cable. Niiiiiice.

What are you all getting excited to see this summer?

Oh and here's one for long term view: did you hear there will be a new sitcom this fall starring Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose as sisters?
*squee*  Unfortunately...it's on FOX.  Uh oh.

WHAO! What IS that? I don't have premium channels so I've never heard of it, but I'm confused how he went from being from New Zealand to being Middle Eastern when he sings. Or is that just me? LOL That was pretty funny!

I posted a whole list of things I'm looking forward to this summer. Every summer I say I'm going to get Netflix and then there end up being so many shows to watch that I don't have time for movies.

The last 2 episodes of Drive are on the 13th. I didn't watch any of Jericho, but I was figuring I'd give it a try this time around. :)

Dr Who, Eureka, The Dead Zone, The 4400, Pysch and Monk are all on my schedule. Not to mention watching Buffy Season 1 for the first time, And Veronica Mars S1 also for the first time. Watching a few Firefly episodes I still need to see. See no time for movies! And I have another little obsession that lasts through the month and starts tomorrow: The Tour de France. Last year I watched about 5 hours a day of live coverage. Maybe this year I will just watch the 1 hour high light show :)

There is also a new Lily Taylor show this summer on Lifetime I think. I like her, but not sure if I'll watch it. That Holly HUnter one could be good though. I read about that a while ago.
