It was a great speech. Truly fantastic - embodied everything I've thought all along, since about the beginning of season 2.
And considering how good the cylons are at mindfrakking I'd say Baltar isn't totally responsible for what he did. Mind you, I'd give a verdict of not guilt because of insanity personally. *lol*
Thanks for pointing me to this - I will enjoy rereading it many times. :)
Yeah...I have really enjoyed watching Lee's journey this season. Fat Lee was sad. Apollo commanding (and sacrificing) the Peggy, was fantastic. The Quartet was incredibly frustrating, but complicated messy and realistic IMHO. And The Romo Effect? Well, don't get me started *glee*
TPTB have really put Lee in a great place (storytelling wise) as of the end of 3.5. I assume his speech, which was broadcast all over the fleet, will give him quite the rep...will he still be an outcast after doing this? Even Papadama was moved.
