btw...this X FILES film news is interesting - what do you XF series fans make of that? I didn't watch the show, but I am fascinated with this as a marketing idea. TPTB select certain eps from across the show's (nine?) seasons, and collect them together to get people interested in a THIRD film that hasn't been written yet.

I love that.

It looks like they're saying each XF ep is tied to the new movie somehow...which is weird, because it's an odd assortment of episodes which don't really have an overarching theme, although they are some of the shippier episodes, which is encouraging. *g* But any XF fan already has those episodes, probably, so I don't know that they're going to sell many copies....

I do kind of think that most people who are fans of The X-Files would own most of these particular episodes already, in one form or another. It does make me even more stoked for the film, if that's possible though. *G*

Wow. I honestly believe that this is a prime example of "milking it." Once Fox ran out of XF seasons to release they started doing the "special" episode collections. Now, with the movie coming out, it's a perfect opportunity to sell something else. Cuz losers like me will buy it for that damn panel! :P
