Per some comments on a previous post made by reve_lucide  and dianora2  - I wanted to share my observations about BSG promo photo choices. Then and now.

For Season 3 we got these great photos -

ETA - Also note where Trucco is placed in the big group shots...I suppose the one bone of contention/discussion point/fandom wank angle on this is this: how does this square with the "clue-filled" LAST SUPPER shot we got a while back?  Wank indeed, I say!

Just that there even IS a picture of the 2 of them together makes me squee with joy and makes my heart skip a beat. :D

And hey new colors! The tanks used to be black and gray and now they are brown and beige. I wonder if they will be completely different for everyone this season or if they are just to warm up the promo pics.

It looks like last season they used a blue light or filter, this year a warm color, prolly yellow/brown.. I bet they are still the same ones... it's amazing what light can do..

Definitely different lighting this time around. You have a good point it could be the lights as making all new tanks makes no sense. I guess we'll find out in 42 DAYS! :)

This promo has been the most positive thing to come out in a frakking year. More so than the reunion hug even. I think because it IS so different than any other promo shot like you said.
