New Cloverfield Trailer

So low-res it's hard to even comment...other than to say it reminds me of homemade/indy journo 9/11 footage.  And is therefore slightly disturbing.  Apparently you have to go see BEOWULF this weekend to see this trailer.  Sorry but I can't make myself do it. *g*  Meanwhile I am pretty happy to see more films following this "cinema verite"/YouTube Gen concept, like in DePalma's new film REDACTED, of material pretending to be filmed by the characters.  Reminds me of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT.  In a very, very good way.

I saw the trailer during the previews for The Mist... it was okay, I actually really liked it. Yes, it resembles some footage of 9/11, but in the same way that any disaster movie set in NY does (i.e. Independence Day and such).
