Wow...brokenmnemonic just made an incredible BSG vid to a NIN song:

This is a vid I can use to get my BSG fix on the days I really miss it.  Sweet job, brokenm!  *runs off to post it on the Sitrep*

You can download a big shiny version on my LJ as well... and given that it came out at only 53 or so MB, I'm tempted to see if I can compile a bigger, shinier version :)

Thank you for the vid-pimpage... I'm having the sort of day at work where I've actually hung up on someone for being annoying, so this has greatly improved my mood :D

I am kindof sick of shipper vids these days, I love genvids that show off all the many other things this wonderful tv show has to offer. This is the sort of vid that might make a n00b want to check out the show...IMHO...

I've been trying to get back into what I liked about the show before I became such an ubershipper, because I know what you mean about shipper vids... I've kind of burned out on them myself. I still have some I love, but I just can't get enthusiastic... so, I went out and vidded things that make me bouncy, and I'm a total fanboy of evil cylons and big explosions and people being heroic :D

You know I love all my ships...but I get so sick of seeing the same 30 shots over and over. They get slightly claustrophic after a while...I know you know what I'm sayin'...

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I know people sometimes comment when they see footage from deleted scenes, simply because it's nice to see unfamiliar footage in there. That's one reason I;m thinking more and more of vidding a different fandom to BSG, just to get some variety in what I;m doing. I could try doing vids from a different POV within BSG, like my last one... but I'm not sure quite how to go about doing that. Too pilot-obsessive, maybe...

Well you could try doing some multi-fandom ones...like your favorite pilots of all time, all cut together, etc...the possibilities are truly endless. I have a fanvid back in my LJ from a few months ago (I think it's tagged under 'fanvids') that cut together Starbuck, Buffy, Sydney from Alias, and I think Veronica Mars into one vid...
