OMG, like totally bitchen news!

SQUARE PEGS with Sarah Jessica Parker coming to DVD.

Loved that show!  We have a bit of a wait, till May 20th.

Meanwhile, let's celebrate with a few Waitresses ditties...and heck, I'll throw in this Captain Sensible too.  *dances around desk*

I used to love that show too, but for some reason I can't stand SJP today. Though I liked her in LA Story. So I guess what I'm saying is that I can't stand Sex and the City.

: )

I am worried though, that watching Square Pegs now will destroy all my positive memories of it from back when I was a less critical viewer...

Well I still am OK with SJP when she's in GOOD THINGS. Like S&TC. Ahem. *g*

But yeah, I was a tweener when this show was on. We'll see if I still have the love. At the time it stood out as a uniquely of-its-moment, snarky and sweet thing. With AWESOME music. Or maybe it was just The Waitresses? Not sure.

I'm going to ETA my post now with a few 80s Waitresses videos...LOL

Woo hoo, awesome! That was one of my favorite shows.

some comcast digital cable systems offer it in their "Tube Time" section of old tv shows. I watched one a while back it was so incredibly retro and early 80s and...

And? Did you like it? Yea or Nea?

(Also, important: was this your first time? Or did you watch it also back in the day?)

it was funny

it was actually quite funny, but the pacing and storytelling seems so different than the shows of today.

It was kinda fun in a nostalgia 80s way because I remember watching it when I was like in junior high or highschool. It was notable at the time because the guy who played Kirk's son in the movies was the punk rocker kid.
