Some very industrious fan smuggled a camera into this concert...Here it is on yt but I doubt it will stay up for long:

For those of you that don't know what this is: recently the casts of GREY'S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE held this concert as a benefit for their crews to help recover from the strike. Awwwww. Here's some reportage from EW and Access Hollywood as well. That is adorkable that they read fan letters and fan fiction in between musical numbers, love it!

I apologize for the poor camera skills, but because they were so strict about *any* picture-taking (they even came up to me at one point), I had to cover the camera with my scarf so I couldn't see what I was videotaping! Plus I was laughing like crazy, so it's shaking all over the place. Also, please excuse the fangirlish screams and gasping. :)

This was a benefit concert to raise money for the crews of both shows that had suffered during the strike, so it was all about them.

I have 4 clips missing that of course happen to be the best ones (a full Sara song to close the show, a song with Tim/Chris/Amy each playing instruments - including a tamborine!, Patty Griffin singing, and the discussion of us fans and our fanfic). They're on my camera but they won't import onto my computer! Maybe one of you has an idea how to solve this problem. :(

fyi: the Katherine/T.R. clip is of them reading Gizzie fanfic, Audra said that last song she sang reminded her of Addison, Paul wants Cooper to be with Addison, Eric Dane wants to be on Naked Private Practice, and Shonda happened to call Sloan McStreamy. The whole 'best boy' thing was the running joke of the evening, and Sandra Oh was the one who finally explained it.

There's obviously lots missing, so if you'd like to know anything about the show (or would like to know what they're saying if you can't understand), feel free to ask.
